Ava Storz, MSW Intern
Ava is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development Behavioral Science from the University of Delaware. Ava is passionate about helping others navigate challenges such as anxiety, OCD, relationship struggles, trauma, grief, career and educational transitions, and building social skills. She also has a special interest in working with athletes and supporting individuals through life’s many transitions.

Ava values meeting clients where they are, building a strong therapeutic connection, and bringing creativity and humor into her sessions. She draws from holistic, person-centered, and relationship-based approaches and is particularly interested in integrating techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and attachment-based theories.

Her experience includes providing school-based counseling to adolescents and working in non-profit and outpatient settings with college students, athletes, adults, and the geriatric population. Ava is passionate about empowering clients to build confidence, establish goals, and thrive during periods of change.
